  1. Lock out the dock position (barrier or sign).
  2. Cycle leveler full range, listen for pump noise.
  3. Inspect lip hinge pins and lip keepers.
  4. Check hydraulic hoses and cylinder for leaks.
  5. Inspect toe guards and side skirts.
  6. Check deck plate for cracks at hinge.
  7. Grease hinge points.
  8. Sweep pit.

Parts: Grease, hydraulic oil. Safety: Never enter pit without maintenance strut engaged; dock position locked out.
